Since that move they have continued to do anything but retire by developing Casa de Patron Bed & Breakfast in 1988 for 21 years; along with improving other properties in Lincoln.
Cleis also continued her professional career as a musician having received a Master of Music degree from the University of Houston. She is the Organist at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Roswell where they have the finest tracker pipe organs in the state. She has performed numerous recitals at the church.
Cleis will be playing music on the Steinway square grand piano at the Dr. Wood’s House museum. The piano was her first love before choosing the organ as her major instrument when in college.
